Terms & Conditions

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Cancellations of grazing box deliveries must be communicated within 7 days of the original booking date/time or you will incur the full fee of the box.

​

Maintenance of Equipment:

All Platter Queen's property must be wiped clean and ready for pick up the following day at a time convenient for both parties.

​

Payment:

All grazing boxes are required to be paid in full prior to order confirmation. Minimum 2 days notice is required for all grazing boxes. If the booking is made with less than 2 business days prior to pickup/delivery, additional costs will be invoiced.  Proof of payment required for payment made via bank transfer.

Delivery & Travel Fee:

Grazing box deliveries are determined by Platter Queens and their availability. Bookings are not confirmed until in writing by Platter Queens to the client.

Free delivery is included for 5kms within Templestowe only. A travel fee will apply for delivery outside this area:

Within 5km of Templestowe - Free
5-15kms outside of Templestowe   - $30.00
15-20kms outside of Templestowe - $50.00
20-25kms outside of Templestowe - $70.00
25-30kms outside of Templestowe - $90.00
30-35kms outside of Templestowe - $110.00
35-40kms outside of Templestowe - $130.00
40-45kms outside of Templestowe - $150.00
45-50kms outside of Templestowe - $170.00

Persons must be available to meet us on delivery or it will be returned to our HQ. The client then can arrange to collect the grazing box at a later time or a re-delivery fee will be incurred.

Platter Queens accepts no liability for the loss or deterioration of any goods once they have been delivered.

Consumption:

All grazing boxes must be consumed within four hours of delivery/pick up. If you want to save the grazing box for later, it should be refrigerated as soon as possible and no later than within one hour. As Platter Queens is not in control of the environment or storage of the food after it is delivered or picked up, the client takes full responsibility for food safety immediately upon pick up/delivery.

Allergies:

Dietary and allergen requirements should be communicated on booking.

Please consider Platter Queens is produced in facilities that handle the following ingredients; milk, eggs, soya, seafood, peanuts, sesame seeds, tree nuts, gluten and celery. It is not possible to guarantee the total absence of these ingredients in any Platter Queens products. Platter Queens accepts no liability to any allergic reaction by a customer as a result of consuming a Platter Queens product.

Confirmation of Details:

All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking. The booking is not binding to Platter Queens until it has been accepted by Platter Queens in writing and all conditions have been met by you and deposits have been made. Any booking will automatically be cancelled 14 days of the quotation expiration date if a deposit has not been received.

Event packages, hire items, final numbers, dietary requirements and staff for functions are to be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. If the final numbers decrease after confirmation has been made you will be charged at your confirmed numbers.

Our minimum numbers and package fees will apply irrespective of whether your final number of guests fall below our minimum numbers or package costing. That is, the price will remain at our minimum numbers or package fee.

Pricing:

All prices quoted are valid for a period of 14 days from the date quoted unless stated otherwise. Pricing is always subject to change without notice, based on increases in cost prices from suppliers, venues, fuel, parking. Each quote is only applicable to the inquiry.

Payment:

A 50% Deposit is required upon booking. Additional add ons such as Table Styling and Travel Fees will be added to the final invoice and all outstanding payments is required to be paid in full 14 days prior to your event.

Upon payment, your credit card information will be securely stored and final invoice amount will be confirmed with you prior to processing. You will have written confirmation of the invoiced amount emailed to you before payment is processed.

Delivery Policy:

Delivery areas are within Melbourne metro only. Free delivery with 10km of Templestowe. Our produce is prepared to the highest quality standards and is always prepared with impeccable food safety practices. Platter Queens accepts no liability for the loss or deterioration of any goods once they have been delivered. All our boxes and platters are delivered fresh, and must be consumed within 4 hours. If you are not consuming your food immediately, the items must be placed in the fridge.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Any cancellation of an event by the client must be notified in writing by emailing Platter Queens at info.platterqueens@gmail.com. Once the booking is confirmed, the date and time is yours and we decline any other enquiry, no matter how many we receive. In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your booking, we have a cancellation policy in place:

If your grazing table booking is cancelled more than 6 weeks out from your event date, you will receive a full refund minus a $150 non-refundable deposit.

If your grazing table booking is cancelled 2-6 weeks out from your event date, you will forfeit your 50% deposit. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of your event date will forfeit the full costs of the booking.

Changes to dates are to be treated as a new booking and will still adhere to the above refund and cancellation policy. Decreasing the length of your grazing table is not permitted with 2 weeks from your event date.

Maintenance of Equipment:

Any damage to or loss of the provided equipment caused by the client, clients guests, venues or venues employees will be charged accordingly and invoiced after the event.

All equipment including but not limited to;
cheese knives and utensils;
wooden and/or stone boards, bowls, plates and cups;
table, chairs, and table linen;
styling props such as vases, candle sticks, candles, baskets, and any further props supplied by the Platter Queens;

All Platter Queens property must be wiped clean and ready for pick up the following day at a time convenient for both parties.

Weather

We do not provide refunds or offer date reschedules in case of bad weather on the date of your grazing table booking. It is vital that your grazing table is located in a shady, cool location for duration of the set up and event.

Venue Facilities & Specific Requirements:

The client is responsible for providing adequate and safe parking and loading areas for catering vehicles. The client will be responsible for any parking fees incurred by Platter Queens. The client must ensure that the venue adequately meets Occupational Health & Safety requirements.

Storage of Collected Information & Communication

The security of your personal information is important to us. Platter Queens uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as emails, SMS, accounts information, and customer service details. We may also use this information for other purposes, including some promotional emails, SMS order reminders, newsletters and offers. If at any time you do not wish to receive such correspondence, you can request to be removed from any mailing lists by unsubscribing or emailing us at info.platterqueens@gmail.com.
